Appetizer: Steamed mussels, with leeks, fennel, tomatoes and chilis
碟上大約有十隻八隻青口,看上去以為新鮮,吃下去便知道不能單看表面。
Entrée: Braised lamb shank with roasted butternut squash risotto and caramel pearl pearl
說實話,這羊腿比 Il Giardino 的還好,因肉汁較多的關係,這次,我全都吃下,只嫌risotto太濕。兩位兄台選擇了Pan seared mission trout, with wild rice,我稍試了一點,trout的肉質比 Il Giardino 的black cod 美味。
Dessert: Rustic winter fruit tart with vanilla anglaise and walnut-raisin compote
這甜品確實差勁,皮厚且硬,若果能夠熱食加上雪糕效果完全不同。一位兄台選擇了Chocolate cherry bread pudding with kirsch shantilly cream,他說味道不錯。另一位兄台選擇了Selection of sorbets: blood orange, mango and pineapple,據說,其中pineapple sorbet 最美味。
以二十五元的價錢來說,這尚算是一頓好的晚餐。
雖然追求美食的心情已經褪減了不少,但藉此想和不同的朋友去相聚一會,亦不失為一個好主意。
